A modern interactive display is a big, bright touchscreen with the software to match: whiteboarding that saves and shares, wireless casting from any laptop or tablet, and the apps your teachers or presenters already use, right on the screen. No projector globes, no shadows over the writing, no pens that died in 2019.

In classrooms they carry the lesson: multi-touch for group work, lesson software, and screen sharing from student devices. In business they make training rooms and boardrooms genuinely collaborative: annotate over documents, whiteboard a plan and email it to the room, or pair with a camera for video meetings.

Classroom and boardroom want different things

Same glass, different priorities. We spec them differently on purpose.

For schools

Writing feel and multi-touch come first: two students at the board at once, lesson software, easy saving to teacher accounts, and hardware that handles being touched four hundred times a day.

For business

Meeting integration comes first: casting from any laptop, annotation over live documents, and pairing with cameras and audio so the display doubles as the video meeting screen.

For both: the install

A brilliant screen on a flimsy mount at the wrong height is a bad purchase. Mounting, height, cabling, network and training decide whether it becomes furniture or the most used thing in the room.

Common questions

What size smart board do we need?

Rule of thumb: the furthest viewer should be no more than about four times the screen height away. In practice that means 65" for small rooms, 75" for standard classrooms and meeting rooms, and 86" for larger spaces. We confirm against the actual room before quoting.

Can it replace our projector?

Yes, and for most rooms it should. Interactive displays are brighter, sharper and effectively maintenance-free: no globes, no filters, no shadows, and they switch on instantly. Over a few years the running costs are lower too.

Do they work with Microsoft 365 and Google?

Yes. Boards support sign-in and cloud saving with the major platforms, so whiteboards land in OneDrive or Drive, and casting works from Windows, Mac, iPad, Android and Chromebooks.

Wall mount or trolley?

Wall mounting is more stable and cheaper where the room has a fixed front. Height-adjustable trolleys suit shared spaces, younger students and rooms that get rearranged. We supply and install both, safely.

Do you offer training for staff?

Yes. Every install includes hands-on training for the people who'll use it, and we're local when a refresher or a new-staff session is needed later.
